2000 Bottle Show
Here are some highlights from our September, 2000 show held at the Masonic temple in Arcadia.

Come one, come all!

Our busy show floor, where shrew buyers haggle for that 'MUST HAVE' bottle. Mike and Lilarae Smith's New Orleans Sodas display. This one was featured at the Denver, Colorado Expo in August. Fantastic display, thanks Mike and Lilarae.

Michael Patris from the Mount Lowe Preservation Society came to our show and shared some of the interesting history of the most special Mount Lowe Ye Alpine Tavern and Resort. To the left is an original advertisement from Mt. Lowe (Cica 1890) and to the right Michael is seated second from the left next to Tony Gray. Also in the photo is Shawn McAlister and Ken Loakes. If you would like to learn more about the Mount Lowe Preservation Society call 626-570-0560. They are always seeking items of interest related to the Mt. Lowe Tavern and Resort.

Some Bitters bottles from Don Wippert's collection. Cathedral Pickles display by Dennis Rogers.

This is Clarence Mendelson one of our newest club members. Mr. Mendelson is a direct descendent of Augustin Olvera after whom Olvera street is named. Tim Blair and new son Ian. Ian's really, really cute.
Everyone had a really great time and we are all looking forward to September, 2001
