Where to dig?

There are only two kinds of bottles in the world, ones that someone owns, and buried bottles that are waiting to be found by the committed bottle collector. To buy or to dig, that is the question. In our quest to find productive dig sites (privies, old dumps, trash pits, etc), the dedicated bottle digger will go to great lengths to research and probe possible dig sites. From construction sites in the heart of Los Angeles, to the mine dumps of the Mojave desert or wherever our research leads us, the bottle digger will be there. Remember, always have permission to dig. Private lands are the best resources to dig with the owner’s permission. Most public lands are protected from damage or destruction by state or federal laws. Please respect our park systems and always follow the applicable laws were ever you dig.

We have lots of good information available for the exclusive use of our club members and their guests. Listed below are many leads to possible dig sites. You can contribute to our information by providing a report and pictures on what was (or was not) found at your locations. Your participation in this research project will help our club maintain an exclusive benefit for all current and future club members. Thanks for you help.
