The Great 23rd Street Bottle Dig
32nd Street and Washington Blvd. in the city of Vernon, California. This productive bottle digging site was located in the heart of a Los Angeles industrial area, just west of the Los Angeles river. This old dump dates back to the early 1900's and was used to dispose of household trash.
